這天 在前一天下了一天的雨後 天氣放晴 藍天白雲 我們搭上早上10點的船到離米克諾斯約40分鐘船程的的小島 - Delos
(原本想說到希臘時 可能可以自己租船航行- 所以將他的航海執照都帶著 後來沒看到有租借的 加上從米克諾斯到其他主要的島要三四各小時 於是決定下次再說)
even thought it was raining all day the day before , the weather was really good the day we went to Delos ... we boarded at 10 in the morning , and it took us about 40 minutes to get to Delos from Mykonos .
船上坐的滿滿的觀光客 HB跟兩位美國觀光客(男的是從美國海防隊退休-非常健談)

在希臘有很多的亞洲觀光客 大都是揹著相機 - 幾乎都是Nikon ....哈
it appeared to be an "excellent" ship ... for HB and the other guy ... 對HB跟其他在場的男士們 這似乎是艘很棒的船
不要再拍了喔

下船後 要排隊買票
Delos 是個看似什麼都沒有 但是卻是充滿"古蹟" 歷史'的考古聖地 已經被列為世界遺產之ㄧ
原本是 Apollon 的神殿 現在只剩下"底座" .................
原本的面貌 現在的Delos再被戰爭摧毀後 只剩下一片的廢墟
島上幾乎乾禿禿的一片 除了很多的大理石柱外 還有一間規模不大的博物館外以及一家小餐廳供遊客喝咖啡
偶爾發現一些再角落中默默生長的植物 ...
而且島上到處有"督察" 因為很多觀光客會站在遺蹟上拍照留念 這是不被允許的 這時你就聽到哨子嗶嗶..的響起 還滿好笑的
delos 在白天供遊客參觀 下午三點半必須搭最後一艘船離開 晚上是不開放的

Delos had a position as a holy sanctuary for a millennium before Olympian Greek mythology made it the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis.
Delos的歷史可以追朔到西元前兩千年 傳說是太陽神與月亮女神的出生地 有各可以容納五千人的大型劇院 以及儲水系統 (相片陸續上傳)
In 1990, UNESCO inscribed Delos on the World Heritage List, citing it as the "exceptionally extensive and rich" archaeological site which "conveys the image of a great cosmopolitan Mediterranean port".
