It would scare the hell out of me if I found a stranger in my room stealing while I was in my room or even in the next room which is exactely what happened to my friend this morning .... She is considered to be lucky as the burglar only took her handbag in her room .... her dad left the door open while he stepped out for a while and the burglar got into the house ... the weird thing is her dad met this guy at the door and the burglar actually greeted him while he walking out of the house .. her dad wasn't sure what had happened so he didn't stop him and went to ask my friend ....and it was all too late ....
and my friend was furious .... I can totally understand why .................
I sometimes do that - to leave the door open just because I can't bother to take my keys out again.... after I have heard what happened to my friend ... I decided to TRY to remember to shut the door each time after I have opened it........ really need to try .....
If I had to choose between convenience and safety .... I think I would defenitely choose SAFETY ....
