First time taking pics of Sky-Lanterns in PingXi , ( so I am not doing very well here ... should try again this weekend ) and it's also my first time seeing so many lanterns "flying" into the sky right in front of me ...... though there were a lot of people there , but just right at the moment when the lights turned off and the lanterns were being released ...
it was so quite ... I couldn't hear anything else but the sound of shutter clicks from the cameras... watching those lanterns floating gently upward above PingXi rural township into the night sky ... it is something that I will never forget ..... so pretty and it brings me a peacful , harmony feeling .....
I actually can understand why now we write our wishes and hopes on the lanterns ... the way they are silently traversing the night sky in batches of a hundred ...... as if we are sending messages to GOd .... Reaching across the Heavens

Will GOD hear us ???
